The Runway, Recycled: Brocade!

One of the big trends for fall is brocade. Beautifully embroidered pieces with metallic threads can be a great way to give any outfit a luxurious and expensive feel! We were especially inspired by this look from Marni’s fall 2012 ready to wear show.

Since we can’t all just run out and buy a designer brocade piece from this season, we’ve put together a few outfits with some of the great brocade pieces we have in the shop right now:

This look is a great way to incorporate the brocade trend into a casual outfit for daytime. The scarf tied into a bow keeps it playful and the gold flats tie in the metallic details of the brocade blazer!
