Over at Designer Renaissance putting together new outfits for the mannequins is one of our favorite things to do! We’ve gotten in TONS of great pieces over the past week and couldn’t wait to style a few new ones. Here are our favorites:
Beaded Top- Lulumari sz S $36
Cardigan- Lidia sz S $16
Leopard Print Scarf- $10
Linen Shorts- Covet sz 6 $32
Chain Belt- $16
This is a great transitional outfit. Wear it during the day with a little cardigan and flats or gladiator sandals, and pair it with some funky earrings and heels for night!
Paisley Blouse- J Crew sz s $20
Cream Blouse (worn underneath)- Built by Wendy sz 6 $48
Skirt- Billy Reid sz 2, $90
Purse- Gianni Bernini $20
This outfit is a great example of how you can mix prints and patterns. The neutral colors in the blouses work perfectly with the louder polka dot skirt. Speaking of the skirt, it is made by local designer Billy Reid. Last night he was awarded Menswear Designer of the Year at the CFDA awards, one of the biggest honors in fashion! And did I mention that the skirt is on sale for $90?!
Dress- Robin K $24
Blue Tee (worn underneath)- Theory sz S/M $24
Beaded Vest- Star CCC sz S/M $12
Chunky Necklace- $28
Button Necklace- $16
Straw Hat- $16
Feeling a bit funky? Why not try a bright print paired with some out of the ordinary jewelry? We’ve gotten some amazing bright and printed dresses this week (including the one above!) that are perfect to put with that fun statement necklace you can’t figure out how to wear!
Long Sleeve Top- Tiny sz S $32
Open Vest- Free People (One Size) $48
Teal Shorts- American Eagle sz 4 $16
Braided Belt- $4
Sun Hat- $28
Another great example of the different ways you can layer pieces in your wardrobe, we’ve put a fabulous open vest over an everyday long sleeve top to give it some flair! Keep it from looking frumpy by belting it, and pair it with a bright pair of shorts or cropped skinny jeans!
Silk Tank- Notice sz XS $20
Cream Jacket- Nanette Lepore sz 2 $68
Braided Leather Belt- $12
Skirt- Madhouse sz XS $4
Glass Drop Necklaces- $20 each
This little Nanette Lepore jacket is a favorite of ours! It’s a great neutral shade of cream that pairs well with almost any other color, and it’s the perfect little thing to throw on to dress up any outfit just a bit.
