It’s tough dressing up knowing you’ll be stuffing yourself at your special holiday meal. So, I’ve come up with some helpful tips on how to dress for your future overeating escapades.
Tip #1: NO Belts! Unless you want to look super ladylike and undo your belt a couple of notches like your Uncle and Father-in-law then do not wear one.
Tip #2: A blazer or cute jacket is a great piece to add over a tight dress or simply to hide any unwanted Holiday fluff.
Tip #3: Try anything with an empire waist. It gives you a nice slim waist and doesn’t hug your tummy so you are free to eat that third piece of pie!
Tip #4: Get a cute oversized shirt or tunic and pair it with skinny jeans or leggings!
Tip #5: Unless you want to be sucking in your tummy all night, stay away from anything high-waisted.
Tip #6: But really, just wear something you are comfortable in–this isn’t Kitchen Fashion Week!
